Francisco Arts Comimission is well known for losing things.
Three years of Executive meeting minutes-the cultural record
lost to all San Franciscians in favor of new digs at the War Memorial Building this month. Who cares about recording
grants; Artwork and meetings when you ca. sit in a kitchen
with TV and dishwashers?

How about the Ken Mallay study of lost artwork? The SFAC
did it again. Years of unrecorded purchases and uninventoried
works on loan.

The biggest mess of them all-HOWARD LAZAR- the janitor at
the South End Rowing Club who has messed up the Street
Artist program to the point of no return. At 73 years old;
same job for 43 years and senile-time to go! Ai t doing much
for the Artists or the City. We are placing bets on how he is going to mess up the Manuel Loli appeal.

Way to go Howie!
