Caltrain service got behind schedule this morning after a train became disabled in Palo Alto.
The northbound train broke down at about 6:30 a.m. at the California Avenue station, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.
Other trains initially had to single-track around the disabled train, but Dunn said at about 7:45 a.m. that the train had been moved and the tracks cleared.
There were still residual delays of about 20 minutes, she said.
