A person under a BART train halted service at the Ashby station this afternoon, according to BART officials.
BART police and firefighters responded to the scene, BART officials said.
The condition of the person found in the trackway has not yet been determined, according to BART officials.
Trains are currently not running through the Ashby BART station. Northbound trains are being turned around at the MacArthur station and southbound trains are turning around at the North Berkeley station.
BART officials are currently working on establishing a bus bridge
but it is not yet in place.
