About 200 PG&E customers remain without power in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood this morning after an outage knocked out power to some 3,200 homes and businesses, a utility spokeswoman said.
The outage started around 8:20 a.m. and impacted 3,192 homes and businesses in the area, according to PG&E.
As of 9:25 a.m., power had been restored to all but 206 customers, PG&E spokeswoman Jana Morris said.
Utility crews were on scene to minimize the impact of the outage and make repairs.
Morris said downed power lines near the intersection of Brannan and Ritch streets were behind the outage, but what caused the lines to fall has not been determined.
