Target is holding a three-day job fair between today and Saturday to hire about 400 employees for its new store opening in San Francisco in October.
The job fair is taking place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the site of the new San Francisco West CityTarget at 2675 Geary Blvd. at Masonic Avenue.
Store leaders will conduct interviews with scheduled applicants and are accepting walk-in applicants, as well, according to Target officials.
The store is the second that the chain is opening in San Francisco after unveiling its first one at the Metreon complex last year.
A job fair for positions at that store drew hundreds of employees in a line that wrapped around the block last August.
People interested in a job at the store are also encouraged to visit Target.com/careers to apply in advance and learn what positions are available.
