A man armed with a gun robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Sunset District on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The robbery was reported at 12:40 p.m. in the 2300 block of Irving Street.
The suspect entered the bank, took out a gun and said, “This is a bank robbery,” police said.
A teller gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who then fled on foot, according to police.
The suspect, described as a man in his mid to late 30s, remained at large as of this morning.
