A man was critically injured when he was stabbed in a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus in the city’s Mission District this morning, according to police.
The 23-year-old victim got into an argument with a young woman, believed to be between 17 and 22 years old, near the corner of 16th and Mission streets at about 5:30 a.m., according to police.
In the course of the argument, the woman stabbed the man several times in the chest and abdomen before running away.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The suspect remained at large as of this morning, police said.
