An employee of a Chinese restaurant in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond District suffered minor burns after a fire erupted in the back of the building this morning.
The fire was first reported at 9:35 a.m. at Clement BBQ Restaurant at 617 Clement St., according to San Francisco fire spokesman Jonathan Baxter.
Upon arrival, firefighters were able to quickly contain the blaze to the one-story building.
Investigators believe the fire started in the restaurant’s kitchen as the employee was cooking, Baxter said.
The employee was treated at the scene for his burns, according to Baxter.
