There were no injuries and no one was displaced by a one-alarm fire at a building on Treasure Island this evening, according to San Francisco fire officials.
Firefighters were called to a building at the corner of Avenue E and 11th Street on Treasure Island at 5:40 p.m., a San Francisco fire dispatcher said.
The dispatcher said she didn’t know whether the structure was a residential or commercial building but said it was boarded up when the fire broke out.
Fire officials reported on Twitter that the fire had spread to the second floor of the building but that firefighters were able to douse the flames by 6:13 p.m.
No one was injured and no one was displaced by the fire, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and as of around 7 p.m., the dispatcher said fire crews were still on scene.
