A woman is in stable condition at San Francisco General Hospital this morning after being shot late Tuesday in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood, police said.
The shooting took place about 11:30 p.m. as the woman was walking in the 100 block of West Point Road, according to police. The shooter shot the woman in the thigh, police said.
Police do not have any suspects at this time, nor do they have a description of the shooter.
No other information was available from police.
