A water main broke this morning near San Francisco’s Alamo Square, a fire spokeswoman said.
The break happened in the 1000 block of Fulton Street between Pierce and Steiner streets at 8:09 a.m., fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
Talmadge said there was no flooding in the street but there was water seeping out of the sidewalk. San Francisco Public Utilities Commission crews are handling repairs.
