A man was shot in the hand near San Francisco’s Alamo Square early this morning, police said.
The shooting was reported at about 1:30 a.m. near Fulton and Steiner streets.
The 25-year-old victim was walking in the area when a suspect opened fire, striking him in the hand, according to police.
The victim was taken by friends to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injury, which is not life-threatening, police said.
The suspect, a male in a gray Honda Civic, fled and had not been found as of this morning, according to police.
