San Francisco police said a woman is suspected of assisting three men who carried out a home invasion robbery in the city’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
Police initially reported that three male suspects entered the victim’s home in the 200 block of Desmond Street near Bayshore Boulevard around 3:50 a.m. when the victim, a man in his early 60s, opened the door to a female acquaintance.
San Francisco police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan said the female acquaintance, believed to be in her mid 30s, is also considered a suspect in the robbery.
The suspects took the victim’s money and cellphone before fleeing in a taxi, Gatpandan said.
San Francisco police said no injuries were reported and that no arrests have been made in the case.
