San Francisco police are investigating the robbery of a bank in the city’s Western Addition neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.
The robbery was reported at 4:55 p.m. at a bank near the intersection of Geary Boulevard and Webster Street.
The suspect, a man believed to be around 60 years old, approached a bank teller and ordered him to hand over all $100 bills, police said.
The victim opened the register and the suspect grabbed cash, then fled from the bank. He simulated that he had a gun but no weapon was seen during the robbery, according to police.
The suspect had not been found as of this morning, police said.
