A man armed with a kitchen knife robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Mission Terrace neighborhood on Monday afternoon, police said.
The suspect, described as a man around 35 to 40 years old, entered a bank in the 4600 block of Mission Street near Ocean Avenue at about 3 p.m. Monday, according to police.
Police said the man approached a bank teller and pointed a knife at her while demanding money.
The bank teller complied and the suspect then approached a second bank teller. He pointed the knife at the second teller and demanded that she also hand over money, police said.
The second bank teller complied and the suspect then fled the bank with the cash, police said.
Police said the suspect was last seen heading north on Mission Street but had not been arrested as of this morning.
