A fight that broke out between a large group of people in San Francisco’s Japantown neighborhood early Sunday morning left one man with a stab wound, police said.
At about 3:15 a.m., a fight broke out between a large group of people at the intersection of Post and Laguna streets.
Police said two gunshots were fired and that a handgun and bullet casings were later recovered.
Officers followed a vehicle from the scene and conducted a traffic stop.
A 21-year-old man, suffering from an apparent stab wound, was located inside the vehicle.
Police said the victim appeared to have been stabbed in his upper back. He was transported to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
No suspects have been arrested in the case and the incident remains under investigation.
