A woman armed with a pair of scissors stabbed a man at a Mexican restaurant in the chest in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Wednesday morning, police said.
At about 11:15 a.m. at Taqueria Castillo B2 on Mason Street between Turk and Eddy streets, a woman in her 60s entered the restaurant and kicked a glass door, causing it to break, police said.
When a man confronted the woman, she pulled out a pair of scissors and cut the man on his chest, police said.
The victim, described as a man in his 60s, suffered a laceration to the chest that is not considered life-threatening, police said.
The woman was arrested. A motive for the attack remains under investigation, police said.
An employee at the restaurant this morning said that the man’s injury was not severe and that the restaurant remains open for business.
