San Francisco police closed a portion of Fifth Street Saturday night, as they investigated a suspicious device in the area.
At 9:31 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Stevenson Street, according to police.
After patrol officers noticed a suspicious device on the vehicle, the officers requested the bomb squad, police said.
Officers shut down Stevenson Street, between Fifth and Sixth Streets. Officers also shut down Fifth Street, between Market and Mission Streets.
After an investigation, at 11:50 p.m. the bomb squad determined there was nothing-hazardous present, according to police.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
