Two suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal 2014 shooting in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood in which one person has already been arrested, police said today.
On the morning of August 7, 2014, 28-year-old San Francisco resident Paris Raynaldo was inside his apartment in the 900 block of Connecticut Street when he was shot.
A friend found him bleeding on the floor, according to police.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Raynaldo suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
San Francisco Fire Department medics were summoned, however Raynaldo was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
On August 25, San Francisco police arrested Deandre Watson, a 27-year-old San Francisco man, in connection with Raynaldo’s murder.
By the time investigators developed leads linking him to the homicide Watson was already in jail for an unrelated crime, police said.
The investigation into Raynaldo’s murder continued and two other suspects were identified.
Arrest warrants for $10 million were issued for both Maurice Bibbs, a 28-year-old San Francisco man, and Myesha Carr, a 33-year-old San Francisco woman.
On Thursday, the arrest warrants were served and Bibbs was taken into custody in the 1500 block of Visalia Avenue in Richmond.
He was booked on felony charges of murder, conspiracy, being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, providing a firearm to a prohibited person, and accessory, police said.
Carr was already in custody in San Francisco on another charge when police served her with the warrant, according to police.
All three suspects remain in custody at San Francisco County Jail, police said today.
