A 33-year-old man who was shot and killed at the Potrero Terrace public housing complex in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood on Monday afternoon has been identified by the medical examiner’s office.
A passerby found San Francisco resident Prince Johnson on the ground and bleeding in the 1000 block of Connecticut Street at about 12:50 p.m., according to police.
Johnson suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder and was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The shooting suspect has not been arrested and a motive for the homicide remains under investigation.
