At least one man was shot in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood this afternoon, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of Missouri Street at about 3:45 p.m., police spokesman Officer Carlos Manfredi said.
They found a man with a gunshot wound nearby at the corner of 20th and Connecticut streets. He had apparently been driven there from the shooting scene, Manfredi said.
The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance with injuries not considered life-threatening, Manfredi said.
A short time later, a second man walked into San Francisco General Hospital with a possible gunshot wound. Police investigators are looking into the possibility that he was shot at the same location, Manfredi said.
Anyone with information about the shooting has been asked to contact the San Francisco Bayview Station tip line at (415) 822-8147.
