A man was shot in the stomach during an attempted robbery in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood on Friday night, police said.
According to officers, the 38-year-old victim was near the intersection of 19th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday when two male suspects approached him.
One of the suspects pointed a handgun and the second suspect pointed a Taser stun gun at the victim and demanded his belongings, police said.
When the victim refused to comply with their demands, the suspect with the handgun shot him in the stomach. Police did not say whether the suspects stole the victim’s property following the shooting.
Both suspects fled the scene in a truck, described as gray or silver in color, and have not been arrested, according to police.
The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
