The driver of a dark-colored SUV struck a man in San Francisco’s Mission District before fleeing the scene early Monday morning, police said today.
At about 4:55 a.m. Monday, police received a report of a hit-and-run collision in the 2100 block of Mission Street between 17th and 18th streets.
The victim, a man between 25 and 30 years old, suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision, police said.
According to police, the victim was removing his bicycle from a bike rack when the SUV struck him.
Police have not located the suspect vehicle or driver.
