A man was seriously injured when someone apparently intentionally ran him over in San Francisco’s Mission District last week, a police spokesman said today.
The incident was reported around 11:45 p.m. Thursday at Folsom and 26th streets, according to fire officials.
San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said the pedestrian and driver had been in an altercation beforehand.
The driver then intentionally hit the man and drove off, Esparza said.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening head trauma, he said.
The driver had not been found as of this morning, Esparza said.
