A 25-year-old man suffered head injuries after a suspect rammed him with an SUV near a nightclub in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood early Saturday morning, police said.
The victim and suspect were at a club just before 2 a.m. near Sixth and Jessie streets when the two began to argue, police said.
The suspect left the club and got into his black car and the victim followed him out and stood in front of the moving vehicle as the suspect tried to drive away, police said.
Witnesses told police that the suspect accelerated into and over the victim, who was knocked unconscious, police said.
Officers found him still unconscious with an injury to the back of his head. He is expected to survive, police said.
The suspect fled north on Sixth Street toward Market Street and has not been caught as of this morning, police said.
