A motorcyclist was injured Friday following a crash on the Bay Bridge, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The motorcyclist, identified as Roger Collier, 48, of Antioch, was driving a 2005 Honda Goldwing west on Interstate Highway 80 on the Bay Bridge and maneuvering between traffic when another vehicle began to change lanes.
Collier braked, laid the bike on its left side and crashed into the rear of the vehicle, according to the CHP.
Collier was thrown from the motorcycle, became pinned under the vehicle and suffered broken legs and fractures to his arms and face.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
