San Francisco police are searching for a driver who allegedly struck a pedestrian during an argument in the city’s Bayview District on Friday, causing life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was driving a four-door black vehicle in the 1400 block of Underwood Avenue around 7 p.m. Friday when he stopped in the middle of the street, police said.
The suspect opened his car door and became involved in an argument with a 56-year-old male pedestrian who approached the suspect vehicle.
The suspect then allegedly drove his vehicle forward, striking the victim and dragging him along the street.
Police said the victim suffered life-threatening head trauma and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The suspect fled in his car and remains at large. No further description of him or the vehicle was immediately available this morning.
