A man was robbed in San Francisco’s Bayview District Tuesday afternoon after a fender bender, according to police.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was in a minor traffic collision with a gold Audi driven by a woman at Evans Avenue and Phelps Street around 1:30 p.m., police said today.
The Audi driver’s boyfriend got out of the car, spotted another vehicle in the area with two men inside and allegedly told the men that he was going to rob the victim.
The boyfriend then pinned the victim against his car while one of the suspects in the other car took a backpack from the victim’s car.
The boyfriend allegedly handed the two suspects in the other vehicle the victim’s wallet before they drove away west on Evans Avenue.
The victim was not injured but lost two smartphones and cash in the robbery, police said.
