A male suspect robbed a CVS Pharmacy of prescription medication in downtown San Francisco Friday night, according to police.
The robbery was reported at the pharmacy on Hyde Street near California Street shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, according to the police report.
An employee at the pharmacy confirmed the robbery today and said that as far as she knew, nobody was injured during the incident.
Police said the male suspect approached the pharmacy window and brandished a handgun at a female employee. He then demanded specific bottles of medication.
Police said no injuries were reported and that the suspect fled the scene with the medications and he remains at large.
