A 12-year-old child was injured in a traffic accident in San Francisco’s Bayview District this afternoon, police said.
Officers responded to reports of an incident at Third Street and Gilman Avenue at about 1 p.m., San Francisco police Sgt. Danielle Newman said.
The victim has been taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for multiple injuries, police said.
An investigation is under way, she said.
