A San Francisco Municipal Railway light-rail vehicle collided with a van on The Embarcadero on Wednesday night, police and Muni officials said today.
The collision was reported at 10:02 p.m. at The Embarcadero and Harrison Street.
An outbound Muni KT-Ingleside/Third Street vehicle was traveling on The Embarcadero when it collided with the van, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.
The van driver, who police said is 84 years old, was treated at the scene for minor injuries and then released, Rose said.
The scene was cleared at 11:23 p.m., according to Rose.
