Police are seeking a suspect who was caught on surveillance video burglarizing a business in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood earlier this month, police announced Sunday.
At around 4:10 a.m. on Oct. 6, the suspect entered the business, located in the 600 block of Harrison Street, by using a device to shatter the front door, according to police.
Once inside, the suspect took laptop computers and charging devices. The total estimate of the electronics and damage to the business is estimated to be worth over $2,400, police said.
Police identified the suspect as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown hair. The suspect wore a gray hat with a maroon bill, black pants, a black backpack, a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “GOLD” possibly written on it in red text across the front, according to police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact San Francisco police’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444.
