A 31-year-old man was stabbed in the back and the chest during a fight at San Francisco’s United Nations Plaza on Thursday afternoon, police said today.
At about 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, two males were fighting in the plaza when one stabbed the other with a silver knife, police said.
The victim suffered stab wounds to his chest and back, but police said the injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Following the stabbing, the suspect fled in an unknown direction and has not yet been arrested, according to police.
Police did not immediately disclose the circumstances surrounding the fight.
