While the San Francisco Giants are playing in Pittsburgh this evening, fans can still watch the game at AT&T Park.
The Giants are hosting a viewing party at the ballpark following a rally as the Giants take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Wild Card game.
The winner of the one-game playoff will then head to Washington, D.C., for a best-of-five series against the top-seeded Nationals starting Friday.
This afternoon’s free rally will start at 4 p.m. and Giants mascot Lou Seal and former players will make appearances, team officials said.
The game is scheduled to begin about an hour later.
The Giants are playing to keep their season alive after watching cross-Bay rivals the Oakland A’s bow out of the playoff race when they lost 9-8 to the Kansas City Royals in the American League Wild Card game Tuesday night.
The Royals will advance to play the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in a best-of-five series starting Thursday.
