A pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck while running across Market Street in San Francisco early this morning, police said.
The collision was reported around 12:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of Market Street, where the pedestrian in his 40s was running south across the street outside of a crosswalk, according to police.
A four-door blue Acura heading east on Market Street struck the pedestrian, who was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a broken arm, broken leg and head trauma, injuries that are considered life-threatening, police said.
The Acura driver was not arrested in connection with the collision, according to police.
