A man was forced into a car at gunpoint and robbed while walking near San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood early Thursday morning, police said today.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was walking near Mission Street and Richland Avenue around 12:30 a.m., according to police.
A man, believed to be in his 40s, drove up to him in a dark colored sports car and leaned over to the passenger-side window and pointed a black gun at the victim, police said.
The suspect ordered the victim to get into the car and drove the victim a couple blocks away while pointing the gun at the victim’s temple, according to police.
The suspect demanded the man’s cellphone, wallet, money, shoes and a pair of professional cooking knives, according to police.
After handing the items over, the victim was dropped off and the suspect drove away, police said.
The suspect has not been caught as of this morning, according to police.
The victim was not injured in the robbery.
