A 75-year-old man taking pictures on Franklin Street in San Francisco was assaulted and robbed of his camera on Sunday morning, police said.
The man was snapping photos in the 2300 block of Franklin Street, near Broadway, when two men in their 20s approached him, according to police.

The suspects then grabbed the man’s camera and lens and fled.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with facial wounds. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.
