A firefighter was injured in a one-alarm fire in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood where crews uncovered an illegal marijuana grow operation this morning, a fire dispatcher said.
A report of a fire in the 300 block of Mayflower Street came in around 3:50 a.m., the dispatcher said.
The blaze was under control by about 4:45 a.m., according to the dispatcher.
The dispatcher did not know the extent of the firefighter’s injuries.
No other injuries were reported, the dispatcher said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
