A one-alarm grass fire that spread to a home in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood this afternoon has been brought under control, a fire spokeswoman said.
The fire was reported at 3:03 p.m. in a grassy area near Alemany Boulevard and Ellsworth Street, fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
The blaze spread to a home at the end of Moultrie Street, she said.
The fire at the home was quickly put out and the entire blaze was called under control at 3:38 p.m.
Talmadge did not know the extent of the damage to the home.
No injuries were reported, she said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
