A woman had her purse stolen at gunpoint in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Tuesday night, police said today.
The robbery was reported at 8:18 p.m. near 38th Avenue and Balboa Street, according to police.
The 51-year-old victim was walking home when a red four-door vehicle pulled up and a suspect got out while pointing a gun at her, police said.
The suspect, described as a man in his early to mid 20s, demanded the woman’s purse and wallet. She handed them over and the suspect fled in the car, according to police.
The woman was not injured in the robbery.
