It is good that Adachi brought this outrage to public attention, because it is important for the public to understand that their public “servants” are generally the wrench tossed into the works. The DA should hang his head in shame – he knows the defense has a right to all contact information for witnesses in criminal matters – there is nothing new nor controversial about that. And this could not happen if irresponsible, executive-leaning judges didn’t allow it! We have the least neutral judiciary and the least justice-focusing prosecution forces in the country, and there needs to be a reckoning!
