San Francisco police officers this morning stopped a driver reported to have a gun on Market Street in the city’s Castro District, shutting down a section of the thoroughfare, police said.
Officers stopped the car near the corner of Market Street and Duboce Avenue at 9:07 a.m., police Officer Albie Esparza said.
Police confronted the driver with guns drawn in the center of the westbound lanes of Market Street, disrupting traffic in the area.
