They may know better than anyone what needs to be done and what can be done.

Does he file taxes in California? Does he put in a full work week in San Francisco, and given the nature of his position, is he available to his bosses on the SFMTA board when he’s not in town?

In addition to Rohan being from Texas, why promote someone from within the organization?

Muni does not have a good track record. Unless there is solid evidence Rohan marches to a different drummer than all Muni management since 1967, we will be stuck with more of the same.
