Muni operators have been on a slow-down since 1975, when voters amended the City Charter to prohibit strikes following the strike of ’74. Unfortunately that Charter Amendment had the unprofessional work rules included in it.

I doubt the arbitrator will permit the Operators to keep their jobs if they do not have a valid license.

FYI, the last good year on Muni was 1967.
