You can get two 32 gallon bins and then ditch one of them, if it’s more convenient, though it won’t save you any money.

It’s still pretty reasonable. What I’m more annoyed by is that we were told recently that our 3-unit building couldn’t switch to a 32-gallon container because there is a minimum gallon requirement per unit. This even though our black bin is no more than a quarter to a third full each week. The good people at Recology told us it is a city ordinance, which wouldn’t surprise me. But of course I plan to check into that. Kinda dumb that they’ve encouraged us to recycle and compost and then when we do we get penalized for it.

He just loves to stick it to the citizens…unless they are his donors!
