A San Francisco firefighter was hospitalized after suffering an unspecified medical problem at a fire department training facility this morning, fire officials said.
The firefighter was taken at 10:46 a.m. from the department’s Treasure Island training facility at 649 Avenue N to a hospital in serious condition, according to the fire department.
While the fire department could not immediately disclose the nature of the medical condition, the firefighter was not in an accident and did not suffer any traumatic injuries, fire officials said.
