
A female suspect who stabbed a female victim with a broken glass bottle in San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood early Saturday morning remains at large, police said today.
At about 12:40 a.m. Friday, officers received a report of a stabbing at Santos and Velasco avenues in the vicinity of the Sunnydale public housing complex, police said.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police said the suspect stabbed the victim with a broken glass bottle causing injury to the victim’s hand, shoulder and face.
The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.
Officers said the suspect fled from the scene on foot following the stabbing and has been arrested as of this afternoon.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation, according to police.
