Two teenagers who were fatally shot Monday morning in a vehicle at Crocker Amazon Playground in the San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood have been identified.
According to the San Francisco medical examiner’s office, 19-year-old Donzel Gaines, of San Francisco, and 18-year-old Kenyatta Butler Jr., of San Leandro, were killed in the shooting.
San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said officers responded to a report of a double shooting in the 700 block of Moscow Street at 9:36 a.m. Monday.
Both victims appear to have been shot while sitting inside a vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene, Esparza said.
Police have not released any suspect information or a possible motive for the shooting.
