Drop it off the minute you get there, and it will be ready that night or the next morning.

Black clothing is my friend when I travel. For business, one suit that you change out of the minute you are done with meetings or whatever. Leggings, and low-wrinkling shirts, dresses, and skirts. For 2 weeks, you need just a couple of outfits if only spending a day or two in each town. Say one work-type outfit, one dress for either fancy dinner or work, then a few items that mix & match and are comfortable. Don’t be shy about packing light. You can always indulge in shopping for any item of clothing you might need. Pick outfits that work with the 2 pairs of shoes you are bringing. Assume the weather will be glorious, and buy umbrellas, raincoats, etc only if needed. And if you are going to Italy, just buy some clothes. Too good an opportunity to miss.

We did laundry once a weekish but I just made sure that everything was mix and matchable enough that I could re-wear everything.

I will certainly keep this in mind when preparing for any international travels!
