The Exploratorium in San Francisco is offering free admission to 40,000 public school teachers over the next two years.
The free admission program, sponsored by Genentech, began earlier this month and will provide free admission vouchers to California public school kindergarten through 12th grade teachers through June 30, 2015.
Museum representatives say the program is part of The Exploratorium’s ongoing collaboration with top businesses to support STEM education, or learning in science, technology, engineering and math.
“A robust STEM learning ecosystem in California is a powerful driver for the community, business and state,” said Dennis Bartels, the museum’s executive director.
Teachers can receive free museum tickets by registering online at http://www.exploratorium.edu/visit/teachers.
